Water: 250 gallons
This stunning 61 ft convertible is the result of many hours of real world , on the water testing of our proven 60 ft design. Beneath the exterior changes, the 60 hull was lengthened 12" and widened 4" to add interior volume while preserving the ride characteristics this Steve Matthews hull design is known for.

The lower deck arrangement will feature a full beam Master, a large VIP suite and crew quarters, with 2 heads. Plans include ample rod lockers and tackle storage for extended offshore fishing trips. The cockpit is designed with a spacious mezzanine, complete with stainless freezer/refrigerator boxes and a built in cockpit grill. On centerline, there is a massive in-deck stainless lined fishbox. Other notable features are bow thruster, teak cockpit, teak toerail, teak pulpit, Seakeeper M8000 Gyro Stabilizer and Bausch American top. At the helm, three, top of the line Simrad monitors will keep track of GPS, radar and sonar needs as well as the FLIR night vision system. CAT C18 power with conventional shaft drive system will provide cruise speeds in the 32 knot range and top speed of nearly 38 knots.
"I've been on and around the water my whole life and building a large sportfishing boat with one of the North Carolina builders has been a dream of mine for years. Doing this project with Ritchie Howell and his team turned out to be an easy decision. An overnight canyon fishing trip on the 60' Canyon Runner was all that was needed to convince me of the seaworthiness and incredible ride of Ritchie's boats. Just as important as the ride and efficiency of the boat is the team of people behind it. Adam, Mark, Joe and Ritchie have been invaluable - listening to my wife and I talk about our requirements and pulling together the specs for what is going to be an incredible boat. As exciting as the build process is, we can't wait to start fishing and cruising the boat up and down the eastern seaboard. From Boston to the Bahamas this boat is sure to create unforgettable family memories and turn heads for years."
